Tom started in the culinary field at age 13. He attended The Lorain County JVS Culinary Academy in Oberlin, Ohio, where he competed in many different areas. After graduating high school, Tom moved to Cape Cod to work at Wequassett Inn, a resort in Chatham, Massachusetts.
Three months later, Tom attended Johnson & Wales University. While he was still in school, Tom worked at The Weston Charlotte, where he learned the ins and outs of banquets. For the past five years, Tom has been the chef of Momocho, where he puts a Momocho twist on Mexican cuisine.
